Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is important to the School of Government and International Affairs and our EDI committee promotes best practice across the department. The membership includes representatives from all sections of the department.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives

Important initiatives undertaken by the school include active engagement with our First Generation Scholars Group, engaging our local promoting community with Widening Participation initiatives and in 2015 the Department was awarded an Athena Swan award.
