Durham AO Simulation Platform
The Durham AO Simulation Platform (DASP) is a full end-to-end Monte Carlo simulation and modelling tool that can be used for modelling AO instruments on telescopes of up to ELT size. It is used at several institutions worldwide.
It is highly parallelisable (MPI and threading), and configured with a graphical tool that is used to drag and drop modules to configure the simulation. It is coded in C, with Python used to link between the simulation modules.
