Management and Marketing Department

Built on strong and broad foundations in management and marketing knowledge, our teaching and research focuses on the global business world.

We are a diverse and dynamic group of about 70 academics who conduct research with impact and teach courses leading business thinking. Our work spans all aspect of business activity including operations and innovation management, leadership, marketing, international business, entrepreneurship, human resource management, and organisation behaviour.

We teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the main management fields of strategy, organisational behavior, leadership, HRM, marketing, entrepreneurship, public management, operations, and international business. We deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education courses (part-time and online) with modules that span all of these areas. In terms of research we have achieved critical mass in the areas of leadership and followership, innovation and technology management, organisation and society, and marketing (including international business).

Our ambition is to build on our leading international position by advancing world changing knowledge and securing global impact through increasingly collaborative research across disciplines with colleagues in the University and beyond.
