Business and Management

The BA in Business and Management programmes is specifically designed to provide the foundation you need to become a successful strategic manager. If you’re inquisitive and eager to learn more by investigating and researching, then this course is for you.

Throughout the programme, you’ll study modules that help you develop investigation and project skills. You’ll also learn from a variety of practical activities including developing a business plan for a new start-up.

This programme shares a common first year with the BA in Marketing.

Marketing and Management (BA)

The BA Marketing and Management gives you both a broad range of perspectives and in-depth expertise. Throughout the programme, you’ll learn from a variety of academic disciplines such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and economics. And you’ll gain an understanding of strategy, consumer behaviour, branding, market research and communications. From these solid foundations you’ll build your own specialisms.

What’s more, you’ll develop your practical and research skills through business internships and placements, volunteering projects, student competitions and insight from the Department’s research seminar series. It’s an excellent combination to help you forge your marketing career in the real world of business.
