Chloé Reuter joins School Advisory Board
At the School’s Advisory Board yesterday Chloé Reuter, Founding Partner of Gusto Luxe and Founding Partner/Vice Chair of Gusto Collective was confirmed as the newest member of the Board. Chloé, also a Durham University graduate of Chinese Studies and Japanese joins a distinguished group of experts who help raise our profile, shape our programmes, and maintain our excellence.
Chloé is originally from Luxembourg and the UK, and has lived in Asia since 1993. Fluent in English, French, Italian and Mandarin Chinese Chloé worked at Bloomberg TV and Reuters TV in Tokyo before becoming an entrepreneur. A move to Shanghai in 2005 and witnessing first-hand the evolution of the luxury market provided Chloé with the inspiration for her own businesses.
Commenting on her appointment Chloé said, “I’m delighted to join the Advisory Board. As a Durham Graduate I’m very grateful to the University for giving me great tools and foundation to develop my career as an entrepreneur in China. I’m looking forward to giving back and supporting the Business School, as well as sharing my experience on building a business.”
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions the Advisory Board meeting took place virtually with members signing in from around the globe. Chloé’s term on the Board will be for 3 years.
Executive Dean, Professor Susan Hart welcomed Chloé to the Advisory Board saying, “As a business school it is essential that we stay connected to business and the Advisory Board is just one of the many ways in which we do this. I’m delighted that Chloé is bringing her international and entrepreneurial insights to help guide the School as we work to deliver our vision and mission”.
