Impact Magazine, Issue 4: Diversity and Internationalisation

The fourth edition of IMPACT, the Durham University Business School thought-leadership magazine, was released to graduates at Summer Congregation 2018. The theme of this edition is Diversity and Internationalisation, two themes which are embedded in the School's ethos and form an important part of everything we do.

In this edition, you can read a variety of articles based on the excellent research taking place at the School and the experiences of our students and alumni. You can also explore a Day in the Life of a Durham University Business School student across a number of our programmes as they explain a typical study day.

Magazine features include:

  • Does Diversity in Leadership Matter?
    Professor Susanne Braun

  • High Heels and Peacock Tails: The Evolutionary Psychology of Fashion
    Professor Mike Nicholson

  • From Bogota, to Durham and Back Again: Transforming Careers and Lives
Edgar Cortés and Manuel Preciado Hernández

  • An Alternative, Personal View on Diversity
    Clarissa Milne

  • Thinking About an MBA? FAQs Answered

IMPACT was recently shortlisted in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations  PRide Awards 2018: North East, within the ‘Best Publication’ category. The CIPD describe the awards as recognising the outstanding work delivered by clients and employers from across the UK. Judged by a team of leading industry experts, the North East winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in December.
