Durham Economic Theory Conference 2019

The 1st Durham Economic Theory Conference (DETC19) will be held on 15-16 May 2019 at Durham University Business School. Durham University is located in the historical and beautiful city of Durham in North East England.
The main theme of the Conference is on economic theory and its applications. The conference will have three distinguished keynote speakers:
- Mark Armstrong (University of Oxford)
- Tong Li (University of Vanderbilt)
- Vasiliki Skreta (University College London and University of Texas at Austin)
The conference is organized by Durham Research in Economic Analysis and Mechanisms (DREAM), and financially supported by Durham University Business School.

Travel Information
The nearest airport is Newcastle (UK). It takes about 30min from Newcastle Airport to Durham City by taxi (a fare of £35 or so). Newcastle airport is also connected to Durham by metro and train, and you could also take metro from the Airport to Central Station, and then take train from Newcastle to Durham (it takes about one hour or so).
