Mrs Claire Drayton-inman
Claire started to work at the Business School in July 2015, prior to this she worked for a number of years at the Univerrsity of York as well as held posts at Unversity of Nottingham, University of Leeds and for Sodexho. Whilst at York, Claire held various posts including Catering and Bars Manager for dual outlets and more extensively as a Facilities Manager. In her role as Facilities Manager, this covered over 20 buildings including staff and student accommodation, social and dining, teaching, office, retail, tenanted properties, performance and external areas. Claire was a key part of the communication structure and bridged the gap between the support services and the customer. Other key parts of her role were to work with departments on all space needs, space fits, refurbishment and new builds. In addition, she also worked closely with departments in regards to all aspects of heath and safety and fire safety.
Claire Drayon-Inman is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the buildings and estate which form the Business School working as part of the School’s Operations team. Claire will lead in ensuring that the School’s physical environment, including office, teaching and social space, supports the School’s activities in both Durham and Stockton. Claire will also act as the Business School’s Health and Safety Coordinator, supporting the activities undertaken within the department.
