Ayse joined Durham University Business School in 2012 after completing her PhD at the University of Rochester.

Her research focuses on various kinds of matching problems. 

Biography

Ayse joined Durham University Business School in 2012 after completing her PhD at the University of Rochester.

Her research focuses on various kinds of matching problems. They range from one-sided to two-sided matching markets on the one hand and from one-to-one to many-to-many matching models on the other and include house allocation, marriage markets, college admissions, hospital-intern markets, entry-level labour markets as special cases. Ayse also pursues a game theoretic approach to matching problems and studies strategic interactions among the participants in the aforementioned markets.
