Social Work Research and Practice in the Arab World

A Social Work Public Lecture by Dr Sahar Makhamreh looking at how Social Work in the Arab World has developed differently from that in the West, and in some Arab countries, it has yet to be developed or formally recognised in legislation and society. The purpose of the lecture is to develop an understanding of the characteristics of social work research and practice in Middle Eastern and other Islamic Countries.
