Previous Summer Bursary Projects

BSI Summer Bursary students are excellent, enthusiastic undergraduates with an interest in research at the boundary between the life sciences and the other physical sciences (including mathematics and engineering). Previous summer bursaries have led to publications and many bursary students have gone on to take a PhD in Durham or further afield. Below are examples of some of the BSI Summer Bursary projects that have been funded in the past.
