Ruth Perrin

After 20 years working in missions and ministry focussing on the discipleship and leadership formation of young adults, Ruth Perrin recently completed a PhD in the Durham Department of Theology and Religion. Her research has included role models among young evangelical women and the ordinary hermeneutics of Generation Y. She has published a Grove Booklet, B52 Inspiring Women (2009), a chapter in The Faith Lives of Women and Girls, Slee (ed), (Ashgate, 2013) and writes for She is currently an associate staff member at King’s Church Durham and a researcher for the Church of England exploring experiences of curacy training.
