Maths HEP Lunchtime Seminars: Numeric simulation of gravitational waves in Randall-Sundrum cosmology

Presented by Sanjeev Seahra, Portsmouth U.

20 October 2006 00:00 in CM221

I describe some recent progress on the modelling of bulk perturbations
in Randall-Sundrum braneworld cosmology. In particular, I will present
a new numerical algorithm that has been used to predict the stochastic
gravitational wave background associated with such models, and discuss
the (non-)existence of observational signatures of the extra dimension.
