Topological Solitons Seminar: The sine-Gordon model with a boundary

Presented by Gabor Takacs,

14 November 2001 13:00 in CM221

"I discuss some recent work on the spectrum of boundary states in sine-Gordon theory with integrable boundary conditions. The aim of the talk is to present the fundamental concepts avoiding technical details as much as possible. I describe the complete and exact spectrum of boundary states, the reflection factors on them and the implication of our results for the finite volume spectrum."
