Feynman graphs, Periods and Polylogarithms: Sub-Hopf algebra and Hochschild cohomology

Presented by Dirk Kreimer, IHES Paris and Boston University

8 January 2008 14:00 in CM105

We study how to obtain sub Hopf algebras and their role in quantum field theory. In particular, we study the structure of a proof of renormalizability by local counterterms from the Hochschild cohomology of Hopf algebras.
