Maths HEP Lunchtime Seminars: How many giants live near a black hole?

Presented by Aninda Sinha, DAMTP, Cambridge

18 May 2007 13:00 in CM221

I will discuss near horizon microstates of a supersymmetric AdS5 black hole. These microstates correspond to BPS D3
branes (analogues of giants/dual giant gravitons in the asymptotic AdS5 x S5 geometry).
