Were you a student (undergraduate or postgraduate) in the Department of Mathematical Sciences? Would you be interested in coming back to visit? For example, you might like to give a talk about your career path to inspire our current students. These kind of visits are very valuable to our students, as well as being a good opportunity for you to catch up with how things have changed here (or not). The Department may be able to offer support towards your travelling expenses for this kind of visit.
Recently, we have been delighted to host presentations from Rebecca Baker (Mercer, graduated with PhD in 2010), Andy Jennings (NATS, graduated in 2005), and Keith Clark (Imperial College, graduated in 1964).
If you are interested in visiting, please contact us.
