Current Research

The topic of his current research is a comparative study between the UK and China on the protection of minority shareholders. He is being supervised by Mr Chris Riley and Prof Roman Tomasic. The aim of the research is to improve the protection of minority shareholder rights in China. According to the final results of this comparative study with the UK, his research would be expected to lead to a greater understanding of how to strengthen the protection of minority shareholder rights in China. This would be done by establishing an evaluation system for corporate governance. Additionally, his research would give legislative advice, which is based on the experience of the UK, for the amendment of the Company Law of China, and of regulations and policies issued by the C.S.R.C.
