Department of Geography

Undergraduate Photography Competition 2017

The Department of Geography ran an undergraduate photography competition during the first five months of 2017.

This gave us the opportunity to showcase some of the excellent research that our undergraduate community has undertaken during field courses or as part of their dissertations. Students were asked to submit an image they think 'captures something of interest to researchers in either Human or Physical Geography'.

We had an excellent response and some excellent images were submitted by undergraduates in the Department - many thanks to all those who have contributed to the competition. The voting process was open to all members of the Department (including all undergraduate and postgraduate students and all members of the academic, research, technical and support staff).

The winner of the competition was Elmslie Thomas (who received a £150 Waterstones gift voucher).

Many congratulations to Elmslie!
