Undergraduate Photography Competition 2016
The Department ran an undergraduate photography competition over April and May 2016. The competition was launched on International Women's Day, giving us the opportunity showcase images of Women's Geographies as well as images representing the excellent research that our undergraduates have undertaken during field courses or as part of their dissertations.
We had a great response and some excellent images were submitted by undergraduates in the Department - many thanks to all those who contributed to the competition. The voting process was open to all members of the Department (including all undergraduate and postgraduate students and all members of the academic, research, technical and support staff).
The winner of the Women's Geographies category was James Quitmann and the winner of the Research category competition was Sam Nutt. Each received a £150 Waterstones gift voucher.
Many congratulations to James and Sam!
