Scholarships and Bursaries
We are pleased to announce that the MSc Risk and Environmental Hazards and MA Risk and Security programmes are eligible for those who wish to apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme 2015 - 2016.
If you wish to be considered for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship you must mention this in your Durham University online application form and ensure that you also submit an application via the Commonwealth Scholarships website.

Geography are delighted to be part of a scheme offering over 135 scholarships for Home / EU postgraduates at Durham University.
The scholarships are available to support those students who would not otherwise consider postgraduate education. This may be because of financial barriers, personal caring commitments or because an applicant is domiciled in an area where progression to postgraduate education is less common.

The Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR), in conjunction with Collingwood College, is delighted to offer the following scholarship thanks to the generosity of one of our alumni.
This scholarship is designed to cover full tuition fees as well as a stipend and other financial support, up to a value of £27,610. The scholarship is available to International applicants for Risk Masters programmes in the academic year 2015/16. The closing date for this scholarship is Thursday 30th April, 2015.
