International Scholarships

We are particularly keen to see applications from international students who are not citizens of the UK or the European Union.

We have a large number of international postgraduate students registered for both Masters and PhD programmes as well as extensive staff experience in the delivery of high quality training and support.

The British Council

Christopher Moyes Memorial Foundation Studentship

Applications are invited for a Studentship to support a suitably qualified postgraduate student for a three year PhD programme in Geography focused on research that helps to build resilience to hazards and risks challenging human societies in the global south.

The deadline for 2019 - 2020 applications is 31st May, 2019.

    Commonwealth Studentships (Human Geography and Physical Geography)

    Applicants must apply simultaneously in-country. Students must be from Commonwealth countries and studentships are awarded under six themes (science and tech for development; global prosperity; global peace, security and governance; resilience and response to crises; access, inclusion and opportunity).

    CSFP Awards

    Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships give talented students from anywhere in the Commonwealth the opportunity to gain a Master's degree, while developing new skills, experiencing life in another country, and building their global networks.
