Post 0465 – Political Geography Lectureship/Readership

(11 October 2004)

(Lectureship/Readership) - Political Geography: The successful applicant will contribute primarily to the Political State-Space research cluster. We especially welcome applications from growing/established international scholars working in the following fields: the geopolitics, political geographies and re-ordering of the post-Cold War world, including border issues and resource conflicts; new territorialisations of security, surveillance and war, including developments surrounding the 'war on terror'; 'popular geopolitics', including media geographies, the visual culture of geopolitical conflicts, and cultures of consumption. An interest in the Global South as well as the Global North, and an interest in theoretical issues, would be welcomed.
