NATO Advanced Networking Workshops

(1 April 2005)

Nato invites applications for grants to hold advanced networking workshops in Nato partner countries. These are of two types:

•training networks are aimed at facilitating the transfer of knowledge and the exchange of experiences between qualified network managers coming from different environments and backgrounds;

•policy workshops are aimed at increasing the level of harmony among the various network policies at national and international levels and at facilitating coordination in the planning and development of research networks.

Workshops are normally of two to five days' duration, involving between 20 and 50 participants. They should be conducted by a co-director from a Nato country and a co-director from a partner country.
