Post Doctoral Research Associate x 2 (0751)

The Department of Geography at Durham is looking for two post-doctoral research associates to work full time on a two year research project awarded by the Economic and Social Research Council. The research focuses on the micro-relations of the social economy, defined as socially useful not-for-profit activities. The research will help better understanding of three key issues: first, the real potential of the social economy in local regeneration; second, in re-thinking the economy and how it can be theorised; and third, how the policy community should respond to the possibilities offered by the social economy.
