Royal Society of Edinburgh - Exchange Programme to Poland

(18 March 2005)

The Royal Society of Edinburgh, in collaboration with the Polish Academy of Sciences, invites applications for grants to facilitate, encourage and support research collaboration between research groups in Scotland and Poland. Applications are considered in all areas of the natural sciences, social sciences, arts, letters and humanities.

Grants are for short-term visits of around one to four weeks, the key objectives being to enhance the research capabilities of researchers, develop international collaborative links and enable participation in international programmes.

Applicants must be working in a university or research institute in Scotland. They do not need to be fellows of the RSE, but should be of postdoctoral or equivalent status at the time the award is taken up.
