Airborne Remote Sensing Facility

(11 October 2004)

The Natural Environment Research Council’s airborne remote sensing facility invites applications for flying in the 2005-6 flying season. The ARSF deploys a dedicated and highly modified research aircraft to provide the UK environmental science community and other potential users with the means to obtain remotely-sensed data in support of research and survey programmes; provide training and promote good practice in the use of the data and promote the awareness, application and technology of remote sensing techniques among the wider scientific community.

The ARSF can support work in atmospheric science, marine sciences, earth sciences and terrestrial and freshwater science.
