Hunger Pains - Life inside foodbank Britain

In The Guardian article 'Life on the breadline: benefit cuts are making food banks a permanent fixture', Dr Garthwaite explains how during her research she spoke to hundreds of people at a local food bank in the North East of England and how coming to a food bank was their last possible resort forced upon them by their social situations which have been made worse by delays in receiving their benefits due to welfare reform.
