Lectureship in Human Geography - Post:001553

The Department of Geography seeks to appoint a lecturer (Grade 7) in Human Geography on a permanent full time basis; who has expertise in the geographies of nature and environmental issues that will complement and extend our current work in one or more of the following research clusters:

Culture-Economy-Life

Geographies of Health and Wellbeing

Politics - State - Space

Urban Worlds

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, demonstrate a track record of, or potential for, internationally excellent publications and external funding. They will show a commitment to delivering excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and master’s-level teaching. In addition to their research, the successful candidates will perform departmental administrative tasks commensurate with their grade and contribute to our wider human geography teaching programme.
