Election 2015 - The Constituency Explorer

(25 March 2015)

The Explorer is the first creation in a collaborative project between the House of Commons Library and Durham University designed to make high quality evidence accessible to a very wide audience. The Explorer will be of immediate use to politicians and journalists, and to anyone checking the claims made by either group. Quizzes have been created, which run on smartphones, in an effort to engage a broader section of people in evidence-based discussions, especially in the run-up to the May election. The Explorer was unveiled in the House of Commons on 10 March. Users can compare constituencies and regions within the UK as a whole, and can download comprehensive summary documents.
