The Geography Department at Durham University seeks to appoint a Research Associate in remote sensing of vegetation to contribute to projects that (i) assess deforestation and forest degradation change estimates, and (ii), relate satellite image data to ground observations of vegetation abundance. The project is of strategic importance to the highly ranked Department of Geography and Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience at Durham University.
