Postdoctoral Research Associate (Ref. 1195)

The Department of Geography at Durham is looking to appoint a post-doctoral research associate to work full time on a two year research project awarded by the Natural Environmental Research Council. The research project is "Constraining Greenland Ice Sheet mass Balance Using Proxy Sea-level Data", awarded jointly to Dr Glenn Milne (Durham, Earth Sciences) and Professor Antony Long (Durham, Geography). The research associate will work on the development of new high resolution records of relative sea-level change from isolation basins and salt marshes from sites in west and south Greenland. The project will involve two periods of fieldwork in Greenland.
