The Culture-Economy-Life (CEL) research cluster reflects the Department of Geography's commitment to generating dynamic and productive relations between the fields of social, cultural and economic geography.
CEL provides a forum that brings together existing Departmental research from across these fields to create new and innovative research trajectories in human geography.
While the research interests of cluster members are broad and wide-ranging, CEL is marked in particular by a shared interest in how the cultural and economic intersect in life: from the routines and experiences of everyday life, to the liveliness of bodies and material things, the exhibitions and iconographies of previous lives, and developmental imaginaries of future lives.
For further information on the activities of this cluster, please contact Professor Gavin Bridge.
