Scaling the Galleries
Climb the galleries of the Oriental Museum with award-winning poet Helen Mort, in this Durham Book Festival event.
To coincide with the museum’s Scaling the Heights exhibition about mountains and mountaineering literature, Helen makes a welcome return to Durham to present a selection of her poetry and prose interspersed with excerpts from contemporary accounts of historic Himalayan climbing expeditions.
This is a promenade event with limited tickets available.
