A habit of writing: the Brontë juvenilia, editing, and print culture

5th July 2018, 19:30 to 20:30, Leech Hall, St John's College, Emeritus Scientia Professor Christine Alexander

A public lecture looking at the youthful writing of the Brontë siblings.

Focussing on Charlotte Brontë and using the young Brontës' authorial play as an example, this talk will suggest that a knowledge of juvenilia can be of value to the literary scholar.
