Following a degree in Biochemistry at Oxford University, Catherine worked in human genetic research both at Oxford and in Connecticut, USA. She took her PGCE at Durham in 1991 and has since been teaching Biology and related subjects in schools and to adults. She is currently working towards her Ed.D in Science Teaching. Joining the team in 1994, Catherine will hold a key role in the Foundation Team as Biology Tutor, College Tutor and Centre Director.
