Voke is a postgraduate research student in the School of Education. His research focuses on polyglots' perceptions and beliefs about language learning. 

Voke graduated from King's College London with a bachelor's degree in law (LLB) and later obtained an MA in English Linguistics. Prior to commencing his PhD, he completed an MA in Educational Research at Durham University.
