CeREES and CDT students had the opportunity to visit Ferrybridge Power Station and CCPilot100+ Carbon Capture pilot project.

A group of CeREES and CDT in Energy students visited the power station in December 2012. The students had a tour of the power station and the CCPilot100+, the biggest Carbon Capture pilot plant in the UK. CCPilot100+ is a collaboration between Scottish and Southern Energy, Doosan Power Systems and Vattenfall, and is supported by TSB, DECC and Northern Way. Many thanks to Scottish and Southern Energy for hosting the visit.
