The Weldon-le Huray Scholarships Programme
Supporting Excellence in the Arts and Humanities
Durham University is delighted to launch the Weldon - le Huray Scholarships Programme, a flagship scheme supporting talented UK students taking an undergraduate degree course in the Arts and Humanities in making the very best of their abilities.
The first round of scholarships will be available to those beginning their undergraduate studies in the 2019–20 academic year.
The Weldon - le Huray Scholarships offer a fantastic opportunity for home students from lower-income households to pursue academic excellence and enhance their career prospects within Durham's prestigious Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
A minimum of three scholarships are available for Durham University applicants hoping to commence their studies in the 2019–20 academic year, who are able to demonstrate exceptional potential in the field of Arts and Humanities. Each scholarship will provide a minimum annual award of £4000 for a maximum of four years (including courses with an additional foundation or masters year of study).
Scholarship funds must partly be used to support degree enhancement activities, such as career, study/work abroad, or leadership development opportunities.
