Biography

I received my BA in Classic Archaeology at the Ataturk University in Turkey in 2012. In 2017, I completed my Master degree in the Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Cultures at Mississippi State University.

My master thesis is entitled “In the Light of the Artifacts: Understanding Another Domestic Area from the Iron II Occupation, Tell Halif”. My thesis project is on analyzing typical household activities in a domestic space from the Iron Age II occupation, Tell Halif, under the supervision of Dr. James W. Hardin.

Current Research Topic

A quantified analysis of mortuary practices in Anatolia during the Bronze and Iron Ages. 

Research Interests

Near Eastern Archaeology at Bronze and Iron Age; Anatolian Archaeology; Anatolian Iron Age Archeology Household archaeology; Mediterranean archaeology.

2015: Field school participant at the Topper Site, South Carolina, USA, Mississippi State University, Director Dr. Shane Miller.
