Trypillia Project Archive now online
Anglo-Ukrainian project archive opens on Archaeology Data Service (York) Portal
We are happy to announce that the Anglo-Ukrainian Trypillia Megasites Project has achieved the first part of its aim of full project publication. On 12th August 2019, the Project on-line Archive opened for visitors, hosted by Archaeology Data Service York, whom the Project thanks for their skill and huge effort to create this data-rich site. The archive includes sections on Trypillia settlement analysis and fieldwalking, palaeo-environment, geophysical research and spatial analysis, all Project excavations (with site photos and finds images) and the experimental programme. Visitors can reach the site via:https://doi.org/10.5284/1047599
The second publication will be the online De Gruyter monograph, edited by Bisserka Gaydarska, "Early urbanism in Europe: the case of the Trypillia mega-sites" (expected December 2019), which will present the interpretation of the Project findings detailed on the ADS site by a wide range of authors.
