A team from Durham wins Best Archaeological Book award 2018

Many congratulations to the team from Durham Archaeology for winning the prestigious Best Archaeological Book award at the 2018 British Archaeological Awards for the book Lost Lives, New Voices: Unlocking the Stories of the Scottish Soldiers from the Battle of Dunbar 1650. The awards are Britain’s only independent sector-wide archaeological awards, celebrating and showcasing the best in British archaeology.

The book is a collaboration between academic researchers and professional archaeologists working on the Scottish Soldiers Research Project. Find out more about the project here:https://www.dur.ac.uk/archaeology/research/projects/europe/pg-skeletons/
