Rashid Ansumana

Dr Rashid Ansumana is a researcher attached at the Mercy Hospital Research Laboratory and a Senior Lecturer at the School of Community Health Sciences of the Njala University in Sierra Leone. He has over 40 peered-reviewed publications on a diverse range of infectious diseases including Ebola, Lassa fever, Chikungunya, lymphatic filariasis, malaria and antimicrobial resistance.
Dr Rashid holds a PhD in Tropical Medicine from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, University of Liverpool (UK), and has a passion for research in resource-poor settings.
