SymPOC 2008

SymPOC 2008

SymPOC 2008 is the second in what we hope to be a long running series of Physical Organic Chemistry Symposia. The inaugural meeting, which took place in Cardiff School of Chemistry, was very successful (special thanks to Dr Niek Buurma) and we hope to maintain this high standard at the 2008 meeting.

Wednesday 16th-Friday 18th April 2008

SymPOC 2008 will be hosted by Durham University in the Department of Chemistry. The conference will run from the evening of Wednesday 16th April until the afternoon of Friday 18th April. The final programme is now in place.

The local conference organisers (AnnMarie O'Donoghue and David Hodgson) can be contacted via email at annmarie.odonoghue@durham.ac.uk or d.r.w.hodgson@durham.ac.uk

This meeting is being organised through the Organic Reaction Mechanisms Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry. We are grateful for generous financial support from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, AstraZeneca and Syngenta.
