There are several things we pride ourselves on in Stephenson College and one of these is our sporting tradition. Sport in Stephenson is one of the unifiers of the College, creating lasting bonds and providing students with a platform to achieve something more than academic success. Through sport we show our talents as individuals and gain an enormous sense of pride by winning as a team and as a College.
The College has also seen a number of its students succeed in sport at a higher level with many representing the University at Rugby, Lacrosse, Netball, Hockey, Football and Rowing.
Each year we recognise the achievements of our sports men and women at a College Dinner.
Every year we hold our Block Sports Day where each accommodation block competes in traditional races - egg and spoon, sack race, wheel-barrow races and 3-legged races!
