Research Summary
My research examines how maths skills are learned in typically developing children and in children with learning disabilities (e.g., dyscalculia and dyslexia). I am especially interested in how the brain supports maths learning, and how education shapes the developing brain.
Research interests
- mathematical cognition
- numeracy
- fMRI
- arithmetic
- reading
- dyscalculia
- dyslexia
- working memory
- intervention
- educational neuroscience
