Biography

I am based within the Department of Sociology and the Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse which I joined in 2018 at the beginning of my PhD, after completing a BA (Hons) in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Leeds and LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice at the University of Birmingham. My research looks into the main challenges and opportunities of policing online sexual images of teenagers with a focus on ‘context’ and ‘discretion’, adopting a mix methods approach including targeted observation, interviews and documentary analysis.
