I have over 20 years experience of working in the domestic abuse and housing sector and my PhD research is an attempt to bring the two areas together.

My undergraduate final year dissertation anlysed the gender differences in charging and sentencing in cases of domestic homicide.

My Masters dissertation asked the question "How strategic are Local Strategic Partnerships" and analysed the role of housing providers in them.

I also work as Business Manager (Domestic Abuse) at Gentoo (local housing provider) and am Co founder of the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA).
