About Us

Launched in 2017, The Centre for Neurodiversity & Development brings together academics, researchers, students, clinicians, mental health workers, UK charities and non-academic partners, and has many affiliated international members.

We draw together research, and researchers, across Psychology, Education, Neuroscience and Biological Sciences. We seek to increase understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of cognitive atypicalities, and to bring real life benefits to families living with the impacts of developmental conditions. In all of our work, we strive never to lose sight of the fact that, while similarities can be enlightening, each individual is a complex whole, different from every other individual.
