Our Research Projects

The climate crisis is now at the forefront of public debate.

Climate-change ecology studies the effects of anthropogenic climate change on any aspect of ecology. It includes the effects of altered temperature and precipitation on the distribution, abundance, behaviour and physiology of populations and communities. We have undertaken a range of projects including meteorological modernism and ecocriticism and medieval and early modern studies. Find out more about another of our projects below:
